PAST EVENTS
As part of International Women's Day celebrations, the IPC INDIA Regional Office organized a virtual course on "Basics of Electronics Assembly" for members and newcomers to the electronics manufacturing industry on March 8. The session was conducted by Ms. Padmavati E (Certified IPC Trainer). The course was attended by a total of 30+ participants and was a great success. Participants were given a certificate of completion at the end of the session. It was an amazing learning experience for all the attendees.
The IPC INDIA organized a networking event & technical workshop on March 14 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At the session, IPC members and stakeholders (VSSC - Indian Space Research Organization & Keltron) took part. A major focus of the event was the sharing of knowledge and experience regarding Wire Harness and Electronics assembly.
A webinar on Hand Soldering Best Practices was organized by IPC India on March 23rd. There was a great response from the electronics manufacturing industry to this virtual session. 275+ registrations were received and 145+ attendees were present from 8 different countries except for India. Attendees included engineers and technicians from the PCB Assembly, Electronics Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance fields. The session was concluded with a Q&A session.
IPC India Executive Director presented on “Opportunities for Malaysian Electronics Companies in India” virtually to audience of 70+ SMEs from Malaysia. Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) organized the session on March 30. Due to Malaysia's position as the third largest trade partner of India in the ASEAN region, there is a tremendous potential for bilateral trade & investment in the electronics manufacturing sector. IPC India is organizing session at Penang on July 13-14 and Malaysian companies are expected to visit Chennai on August 1 at IPC organized Integrated Electronics Manufacturing & Interconnections (IEMI 23) event
