Grants Recently Awarded to IPC
The Institute for American Apprenticeships (IAA)

IPC was awarded funding to help early adopters of our Registered Apprenticeship Program by covering the related technical instruction costs and an additional incentive per apprentices for the first cohort. Read Victoria Hawkins' article, Apprenticeships and Funding, for more information.

Jobs for the Future (JFF)

IPC was awarded funding to pay the related technical instruction costs for employers enrolling employees from underrepresented populations in our Registered Apprenticeship Program. 

Opportunity Next Colorado

In collaboration with the IPC Education Foundation, High School Seniors from the class of 2024, were awarded $1500 each to assist with tuition and/or other school costs. These scholarships can be used in Fall or Spring semesters of the 2024-2025 academic year. Learn more about the scholarship recipients at ipcef.org.

Stephen F Austin University CARRI Center

IPC was awarded funds from the CARRI Center to offer mico-credentialing training to engineering department instructors at Stephen F Austin State University in IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620 which enables them to integrate IPC standards and certification programs into their existing curriculum.

WorkForce Solutions Deep East Texas

Funds were awarded to IPC to support pre-apprenticeship enrollment within their CTE program for high school students and for the development of a student chapter under IPC’s Education Foundation.

AARP Foundation, SCSEP Sector Project

Our newest award and in partnership with the AARP Foundation, participants 55+ will be provided the opportunity to receive pre-apprenticeship to apprenticeship training and job placement with employers in Texas and/or Florida.

California Employers Can Enhance Workforce Training at Little or No Cost with IPC and ETP
California's ETP may award up to $650,000 for training costs over a 12- to 24-month period, and IPC is reimbursed for training expenses, which drastically cuts or even eliminates the company’s training costs. To learn more contact Victoria Hawkins by completing this form.
NSF Future Manufacturing Program
This NSF program aims to support research and development projects that envision future manufacturing processes and ecosystems. The program focuses on interdisciplinary collaborations that could transform current manufacturing paradigms. Topics include cyber-manufacturing systems, eco-manufacturing, and biomanufacturing.
